If you were wondering how Rowdy got to be so thin without the effort that Jorge put in, you now have your answer. There will be only two more strips of PGHM until I take a break from it to finish chapter 1 of Pandemonium. But don’t worry if you’re a PGHM fan. After I finish chapter 1 of Pandemonium there will be a new 25 strip run of Proof God Hates Me. I want to thank all of the dedicated readers who have stuck with me as I tried to figure out how to do justice to multiple comic projects. The realization, of course, was that I could not work on both at the same time. PGHM and Pandemonium are equally important to me, and I want to do a better job with them, so their production will be rotated.  Neither project is going to disappear…unless the CIA aliens get to me.

We’re almost done with volume 2 of Proof God Hates Me. There are only three more strips yet before PGHM takes a break so I can finish chapter 1 of Pandemonium. If I have time, I might be able to give you guys a nice little surprise. We’ll see.

What it all boils down to is this, maintaining three WordPress sites and update two webcomics three times a week is too much work and I’m burned out. In all the reviews of my site, the one common thread (other than grammatical errors) has been that I attempt to put out a lot of content, too much for someone who has to work a full time job on top of webcomicking. I’ve come to the conclusion that if I want to continue making webcomics, I will need to drastically cut back on what I attempt to do. So, here are the changes that you will notice in the coming days:

• The Pandemonium site will no longer be updated. New Pandemonium comics will be posted only on the Jorge’s Home mainpage.
• I will only work on one webcomic project at a time. First, I’m going to complete PGHM up to comic 100 to complete the second volume. After that, I’ll return to Pandemonium to finish chapter 1.
• There will no longer be separate voting links for PGHM and Pandemonium.
• PGHM will only update once weekly (which I know is actually going to be increasing production, but the point here is to reduce how overwhelmed I feel so that I can actually continue to produce content).
• PGHM Commentary will no longer be available to download via iTunes by the end of the month.

The podcast will continue on without much change. You may not have been able to tell, but we really don’t put much effort into it. As far as the podcast is concerned, we’re actually increasing production there. The difference is that sitting around shooting the breeze or capturing video game contests is a lot easier and less time consuming than writing, penciling, inking, coloring, and lettering a webcomic.

So, what do I say after not putting up a comic in this long? This kind of feels like running into that one-night-stand partner that you really never wanted to see again, but now you’re forced to awkwardly make conversation.

But, really, Jorge has just been running this whole time, and that’s why he’s back to being thin.
